Saskatchewan recognizes Sexual Violence Awareness Week (SVAW) annually during the month of May. This year, SSAIC will be focusing on raising awareness about child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Keynote Presentation
We are so excited to host a keynote presentation from the Canadian Centre of Child Protection (C3P) on May 19th @ 1pm entitled “Protecting Children from Exploitation: Supporting Survivors and Their Families” by Lindsay Lobb, the Policing Relations Liaison at C3P. This session will explore the scope of the issue of child sexual abuse, including emerging trends in online victimization, support services provided by C3P, and available online training and practical resources for front service providers.
